Applications
In order to obtain a good grinding surface, grooves are sometimes made on the grinding disk.The shape of the groove is radial, grid, concentric circle and spiral.Groove shape, width, depth and spacing should be selected according to the workpiece material quality, shape and machining accuracy of grinding surface.Grooving on the surface of grinding tool has the following effect:
